I wanna get lowering springs for my 08 Lancer... should i go with the RRM V.2 or the Tein S-Tech?? As for the price they are both around the same price RRM drops 1.5 front and 1.4 Rear Tein drops 1.8 front and 1.1 Rear but I heard that the Tein were not made for the 08 but they will fit but then drop in the front is nicer... help!! and feedback from people who has either tell me how it is or how it feels =D any help appreciated!!!
from what some of the guys are saying on here that its not good to get springs that are not made for you car. springs are made for the certain weight of the car. I also read somewhere on here that someone was having rubbing problems with the Teins. RRM are good springs from what I have seen. One person I know has RRM springs is Nemo...he said he liked them. I would go for springs made for 2008 Lancers. The Teins are 06 springs. So far Progress Tech has springs...order from ptuning.com....RRM has springs and has a good user rating. I THINK Works has some but not sure.
thanks guys yahh the main reason that i am reluctant to take the tein is that they werent made specifically for our car...
Well if you searched you could see big steve's thread about the teins. the only real flaw about the teins is the weight their made to suppoort theirs a slight fix for it, if you're a little guy and you take off unecessary weight you should be fine i'm having the same dilema i want to drop my ride and get nice tires and what not but i don't want to screw up my struts i wanna wait for the coilovers but thats also a pretty penny
im not say anything wrong i might of misread this somewhere but werent the RRM springs orginialy 06 oz progress springs someone please correct me if im wrong, its been bugging me for a while
