as the subject says has anyone tried a rising rate fuel pressure regulator in an 08 lancer. I remember in the older lancers with the 1.8L engines you gained about 10Nm torque just from a rising rate FPR and it got rid of that flat spot that it had at low rpm which most cars seem to have to save fuel. I have looked around and havent managed to find anyone that is running one, just wondering if there is a reason for that. They are pretty cheap and tend to give a pretty decent performance boost. For $100-200 you can get a decent one depending on what brand and it takes like 15 mins to install.
you know that sounds really interesting i havent seen anyone try some tweeking really and thats the stuff that i think makes the biggest difference! let me know what happens if you try it out! oh and btw i pm'd you with a favor with you being out there and all...
