Ok guys, need some help here. My custom guy CLAIMS that if everything is rewired to bypass the stock amp in the car, that the speakers will blow. Can anyone who has actually done this, please give me some kind of explanation as to what exactly was done to make sure that everything in the car still works after you rewire everything to a new amp? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What he means is that stock speakers can only handle about 25 watts rms power max. If you over power them, they will blow. If you are going to rewire everything, replace the crappy stock speakers with higher quality ones.
OKay here's the deal...to just replace the stock amp it'll cost me $685. SOmeone on here before said that they did a full rewire and it worked out fine for less than $400. That's really all I'm looking for, if it can actually be done or I should just frekaing get the stock stuff cuz I don't have a lot of money, I still gotta get new tires before inspection.
