Has anyone ever bought the replica bride or racaro seats?.. i mean you could get the real ones for like 1400 a pair... without shipping haha.. or the nockoffs.. and from what i see the only difference is the material the seats are made of.. other then that they look identicial... Anyone have any info or experience on this?

From what I remember back when I had Bride seats in my Civic, you get what you pay for. People buying the cheap seats on Ebay always had complaints and would eventually fork over for the real ones.

A lot of r&d goes into expensive seats, not only for comfort but for structural integrity in the event of a crash.

If it's price you're worried about I would just ignore seats. If you do it right, not only are you paying for seats, but brackets, harnesses, and a harness bar = $$$

Ummmm, no. The "knockoffs" or Brides ect DO NOT have the SRS airbags. The only ones that do are the RA or Evo seats that come direct from Mitsubishi. Even at that when you replace the ones you have you will always have the SRS airbag warning, unless you take it to the dealership and have it reset.

You dont want to get the fakes! Check for the RA or Evo seats on e-bay or a junkyard. Take my word for it... i've seen plenty of people that had "racing seats" that were severly injured because they didnt have good seats. Buy the actual seats... save up the money and potentialy save your own life.
