Ok I'm kinda unclear about this. I was pretty sure you were able to just replace the bulbs in the car with HID's with your choice in color. Am I correct or do I have to buy a kit for this? All I want are blue lights for the car.Doesn't matter to me if they HID'S pr not. I have looked all over the net trying to find some blue ones but this question has stopped me from buying them.If anyone can shed some light on this it would help a lot. I have searched all over the forums and they don't really explain this. Thanks.

you can just change the bulb to a halogen LED one like i did i choose 4500k because its illegal here to have any blue color light even a slight amount
but yeah outcome won't be as great as HID but it will be cheaper

6000K+ is what you should be looking for =]

One other note. I just recently found something on the question I was asking. I have read that you cant get that blue color without the conversion kits. Well I am now doing some research on those cus it seems like that's they way I'm headed. Everyone else seems to be running them or talking about them. Now I have to figure if 8000k is good for low beams , 12000K highs and 3000k for fogs. Also trying to find a plug and play version so I don't have to mess with the DRL's. There's also needing to know if i need ballast's and relays. All this stuff i'm looking at has me confused lol. If anyone can point me in the right direction and tell me exactly what I need to do this, It would help. Once I found out everything I need then I can get started.

Well if I can get the effect that way it would be good. I'm thinking maybe 8 or 9000 according to the chart. If you look at the color of the blue angel eyes that's the color effect I want the lights. I appreciate your help.
