i know this is probably a stupid question but how do i remove the shifter knob from my cvt shifter. i have found a shifter knob i like but cant remove the factory knob. any suggestions? thanks for any help.
the shifter knob u found may not fit. The stick has an unusual thread. I am pretty sure you can remove it by pulling straight up, but it obviously takes force. time to workout! 8)
hey thanks for the input. thread size wont matter if it is a small rod. i will silicone the knob in place. with silicone it wont be permenate but will stay in place. will a 2lb. hammer be big enough. lol. i wont use that hammer. hehehehe. :lol: thanks again. :wink:
