The other day while about to take my baby out to do some grocerie shopping, I noticed something irregular about her. The f@#&in bumper was sticking out at the drivers side :x WTF's going on!!! So I walked around her to see what eles could be wrong and when I get to the rear bumper I see a nice crack in it @#$&! While I had her parked at a TTC parking lot someone hit my car and just took off no letter or anything! I hear that making a comprehensive insurance claim will not make the rates go up, but I not too sure if this is correct. If the entire bumper needs to be replaced, I would rather go with an aftermarket-kit (Extreme Dimensions Concept GT) since I want one anyways.

Here are some pics, do you guys think this can be repaired? or is a new bumper needed?

And after noticing the bumper clips while taking these pictures, I put some pressure on the bumper and...

So now the only issue is that nasty crack in the rear portion of the bumper :(

so what do you want to do get and oem bumper or the kit? you could take it to a body shop and see how much they will charge you to get it fix

Depends on what it will cost to get this fixed. I plan on getting the kit anyways, so if this is going to cost an arm & a leg I would rather put that $$$ towards the kit. I'm going to look around tommorow to get some estimates on this.

just remember that the kits are not just plug and play. theres alot of work that needs to be done when getting an aftermarket body kit, especially if its fiberglass.

o man sorry about your ride...but dont worry your not the only one...

my front bumper got hit in the freeway a few months back...messup the front kit, lost the right foglight, lost half of the lower engine cover, got huge crack on my right rims (woth $800), and the tire got shaved a little bit..

estimate cost it to $2500...and i am paying about 500 for the deductable...and my monthly rate went up by $10...

brought to the shop last month..and hopefully i get it today...

good luck on getting your ride fix...

I had someone hit my bumper about a month ago or so. they left a post-it note on my car that read - "I'm sorry I hit your car. I check for damage and saw nothing." There are two scratches in the bumper and a nice little dent. KARMA - just wait dude.
