At all.. with that said , my friend is going to give me an exhaust for my car and install it for free. the thing is that im not sure if the exhaust it anything i can use. he said it was 3 inches big or wide or how ever that goes. im just wondering does the size actualy matter on the exhaust tip?? :?
what you want to know is how big the pipe is not the tip. you don't want to go any more than 3" wide on the actual exhaust pipe or you will lose too much back pressure. Our cars come stock with 2.5" pipe. 3" is the limit I would suggest to you. The tip only matters mostly for looks and if there is a resonator or silencer in it. Good luck, hope that helps
just to let you know 3" is perfect for turbo and should be used to that only... Yes you can go 3" but its not suggested. I have 2.5" custom exhaust and love it.. if you have any more questions, please ask
