I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get projector headlights, or if they are even available.
mitsu are coming out with xenon projectors for the 2009 model... you could prolly wait until the 09 comes out and buy it at the dealer.. but i cant tell u that its gon be cheap XD they prolly gon charge u alot for them headlights =S and btw my dealer said 09 comes out in march but he just didnt specify WHEN in march... but i guess prolly mid march?
how would having HIDs void your warranty? if you really don't want your dealer to know you have HIDs, change it back to stock before taking it to the dealer..
yahh always keep ur stock parts just in case u go see dealers they'll give ANY excuses to not cover ur warranty >.>''
exactly, its a hassle though cause you'd have to remove the bumper everytime you wanna do something to your lights but yeah.
If your cool with the dealer then they probably won't care. Any only way to void a warranty is if some goes wrong and it was caused by whatever you changed. THEY have to prove that. Do your R&D before doing anything.
you DON'T have to remove your bumper to do anything with your headlights, i changed my low beams to HID and changed my fogs to hyperwhite bulbs, takes about 10 mins to change bulbs but mounting the HIDs may take a little longer
Nah headlights you don't gotta take your bumper off but i read in a thread i wouldn't know i haven't touched them.
the headlight housing/assembly yes you need to remove the bumper...changing bulbs or installing the HID kit, you do not need to remove the bumper. In order to get the oem projectors, there is thread posted in this forum. I think it was about 3000 to get from Japan.
projectors> hid... now hid with projectors.. thats pure sex... hids without projectors they are light high beams.. they blind other ppl.. its annoying and i hate when i see that shit on the road.. soo ghetto/ cheap
yea, I tried to pull that magneson moss act when I had a hypertech programmer on my truck at the dealership, and it didnt work, that's why I dont trust it.
