Just wondering since I'm going to pick a piggyback this weekend, among other things... For those of you who have them installed, what gains do you think that you have because of it? I don't need "exact" numbers, unless you have them, I'm looking for more of just rounded estimates. (sorry for the mumbled crap above)
I don't have this yet, but from what I read on evolutionm, they said it increases your gas mileage, slight increase on HP, but more onto the tq. #'s on the gas mileage (not my info) Before piggy: 21-22 mpg city With piggy: 25.5 mpg city I can't find numbers on the HP/TQ gain, but I'm pretty sure some one has.
I was the original tester for the piggy and I hav post all the info on EvoM. You can find the dyno pulls here: http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=273862 In 4th gear pulls I put down: 122.85 whp 123.39 tq That was with the piggy!! Stock, Jake26 put down: 119.4 whp 109.2 tq RRM has always claimed that the piggy's best feature is the increase of TQ. Look at the #s. They don't lie. You will see better gas milage as well. The A/F Ratio is also bumped up for the use of a SRI or CAI. So with the use of one of those you should see even better gains.
the torque and hp come later in the band @ around the midway point (3k and up) and you WILL get an increase in MPG. This thing has given me no problems and I'm very happy with it.
It's a CVT, so I'm wondering what they worked out for that heh, I'm in the process of putting it on now.
Well I can take some pictures, but I'm also installing my Pully at the moment hah, so.. lots of work today
