Hey eveyone. Im new here. This was my baby. Lots of time and money went into it. This is what it looks like now. I just bought this last week. I havent even owned the car a week and I've already ordered the RRM SRI V2 and the V2 pulley!
About 50mph. I actually dropped my cig and was trying to pick it up when i veered off the road and hit a large guardrail and bounced off it and hit another car. He was OK but I got pretty banged up. I now have to type with my lefthand until the pins come out of my right hand.
wow, at lease you and the other driver are ok for the most part. hope you like the lancer it's going to be a lot different from the mustang. it's still a fun little car. not bad on gas either. welcome to LT.
I see in your sig that you have the megan coilovers. Do you like them? Still a smooth ride? My wife hated riding in the Cobra due to the harsh ride. She wont mind me modding this car out as much if the ride stays smooth

Haha, yeah, so far no smoking in the new ride. I don't plan on it either. My mustang had 355 hp and was god awful loud with no cats, Bassani OR x-pipe and Magnaflow magnapacks. My Lancer has around 160 and is quiet so I have a lot of work to do. The thing is, if you can get a lancer es auto to be fast, you have done something to be proud of. Hopefully i will get there one day.
Well unless you're going turbo, don't count on it. Your SRI won't give you much. 3 hp, if that. Pulley doesn't give you HP, it is suppose to rev quicker and free up hp that is lost because of the weight of the stock pulley. Especially for an auto which has 153hp, if it's not a cali PZEV car(which is 143 PZEV). I think with all the mods out for the lancer you will prob get 15-20 hp at most. Turbo will get you around 207 whp.
What about internals? Do they make a decent set of aftermarket heads and cams for the lancer? That helped out my last car a lot. Although i guess there was double everthing with a v8 dohc.
What he said ^^ This is going to be REAL different from the stang... mod wise and speed wise... if you wanna make it fast, start saving pennies for the turbo kit.
Welcome to LT. Glad you are ok. Nice Octane Blue Lancer your goin to love it. Its not Fast but definitely Sexy! As for Mods Pretty much the Internet is your friend but since the cars are still relatively new the whole aftermarket parts are still in the slow lane another year or so there will be tons of parts available
I'm in Victoria tx. Its south of Houston. Thought i had it in avatar. Forgot it somehow. I don't know if I'll like it as much as my Cobra. It ran 12.9 at the track on slicks. It was damn quick. But I had it for over 3 years. Was able to enjoy it for a while. I just can't wait to get these pins out of my hand. I'm going to have to beg my wife to help me install my intake next week. I don't think i can wait 2 weeks till i get the pins out to put it in.
