Performance chips? (sigh) that's just:deadhorse: because no such thing exists. If your referring to a piggyback system or standalone system, then yes those do exist. In fact not just RRM, but AEM, Greddy, Megasquirt are only some of the brands available which have been proven to work. I would highly recommend RRM because it's specific to our cars. AEM and Greddy have their own versions, but those too have to be tuned for our cars and are more time consuming to install. Megasquirt is a standalone system which needs to be fully programmed, and it's NOT street legal to use for inspections. It basically replaces the ECU and follows the same coding as the OEM ECU but over rides the rev limiter, can increase decrease fuel injection pulse, spark timing, and almost anything else that is electronically controlled. It's still expensive to do.

If you want good power, have you looked at my blog? http://lancertuners.com/entry.php?b=217 Read it first, then you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm sorry if I come off a little harsh, but I just don't like bad information being distributed around, and it pains me when new people come onto the boards and ask about "performance chips, fuel savers, and electric superchargers" as if these products are any good.

Cars are expensive to upkeep, and even more expensive to mod, but thats why a turbo kit costs $2,500-$5,000 because of the R&D that goes into first. If these crap parts all worked, we'd all be using them lol.
