im painting my engine cover...should i use a high temp paint??? i have blue krylon fusion...according to it it should fuse with the plastic, but ya...it also says no primer but should i prime it anyways???
High temp paint isn't needed. Leave your car running for 10 mins, then put your hand on the cover. You'll notice it never gets hot. (if it did, it would melt, wouldn't it! ) I didn't use primer but did sand it down a lil bit first. Hope that helps!
thanks, ya i just went for it...figured that if it bubbled n what not it would be easier to take off and re-do haha...just finished my final clear coat, didnt primer and they have kind of a rough finish already anyways so i didnt sand too much...3 coats color, 3 coats clear....looks great so far, ill put up picks soon
Can't wait to see pics Mine's a custom paint I had made up... it's like a baby blue metallic... haha. I'm such a girl
here are a few...i hope this is the right code before the un-taping after the un-taping thought this looked cool simple but yet very nice...hope ya'll like!
