What is the best way to take my emblems off, and put them back on?

and also what is the best way to go about painting the chrome trim in the front?

for the emblems, hair dryer and rubber scrapper. clean the leftover residue with bug and tar remover.

Hairdryer can bubble your paint. When I took my emblems off I wrapped a razor blade in one layer of masking/automotive tape so it wouldnt scratch the paint and just slid it under the emblem. Came right off with no scratches

I use 10lb fishing string! Works great every time!

well i took off the mitsu and lancer emblems and im leavin those off, and i painted the logo gloss black with a clear coat on top, looks pretty clean.

i didnt even take it off, i just taped around it carefully and put painters paper all around my trunk just to be sure.

im stoked with the results though

I used dental floss to debadge my car. I live here in the midwest and just waited till it was about 90-100 degrees outside and let my car sit outside, then I just took the floss and took them off.

+1 dental floss works great. After they were off I rubbed off the extra glue with my finger..then just passed some goo gone over it. I plan on doing my rear emblem matte black (on GG car) in the near future...
