just wondering if anyone on here has purchased somesort of paint protection or clear coat type thing to make the paint more scratch resistent, my black lancer shoowss eveerything! ill probably swing by the dealer and inquire about some scratch removal/overcoat/rust proofing
Dude the paint thing will always be an issue until Mitsu finally admits the paint or lack of coats sucks. I know from a good source that regardless of when they say there isnt an issue there is. They are trying do rectify the design flaw which causes road debris to hit the lower skirts and lower door. They are trying to design an atrractive mud flap or possibly redesigned wheel well. The paints on new cars are a water based and dont have the strength of the old oil based. Long story short if they offer a paint protection get it!! If you can afford it add another clear coat. thats just my semi educated guess. Best of luck with your new car, post pics asap.
