I have a few problems on my car i backed into someone and have a indent on my back bumper where their tag was its not real bad, second I swiped a telephone pole it creased my back rear quarter panel piece its not real bad either. finally I installed strobes in my tail lights and had to hit the inside body of tha car where the tail lamp is to make the strobe bulb fit into where the tail light goes and it chipp off some paint form the vibration. and also have a 2 inch scratch on my passenger door. I think it all looks bad because it is my and ytou can notice it. i am thinking about fixing all of it and running black primer on ym car. what are your thoughts would it look sick or stupid? I cantr afford a paint job, but I can primer lol with my paint gun just not good enought to spray auto paint yet. wont be a while til i get it painted the right way. So ya primer it and fix the spots that arent that bad but are bugging the s**t out of me or just leave it alone?
dont do that!! it will come out more expensive than what you think...just go to your local pepboys or auto zone and get their pencil paint filler (or some shit like that)...its a small tube of paint that has a tip like any pen would have and on the other end a small brush...you can fix up the small nicks and scratches...but if you want it for something big id suggest save up some $$ and get it painted the right way...IMO if you prime it its just gonna look awful...good luck on whatever you do
primer... no..., specially on a new car, and i'm sure you know it wont look anything like flat black, i have seen enough cars, f'ed up from being primed, i'd rather live with dents an scratches. But too each his own, its your decision man.
Ha, well I think to each there own as well. I have plenty of friends that would tell you to do it. But thats becuase they like the flat black look (not the grey primer). If you think you can do it good enough, and you like the primer color, well hey its up to you. Car is kinda new to be primering though lol.
^+1 i also like the idea of a flat black car with some lines and what not, but IMO our cars are too new to be ruining the paint so soon...but if its what you want they by all means go for it...just remember to cover everything up nice if your not planning on taking the car apart (which is what id do)...
doesnt look bad but in these pics the flat black is just in the middle...what are you thinking in painting flat??
