Okay guys, I ordered the HID's just now, and jrox has my relay harness on the way too...definitely excited to get them put in this week! I'm gonna start a thread for updates on my car like I've seen most people do on here, so I don't need to keep making new posts...I'll get started on that after work tonight...have a great day all!
I got them from DDM....the Raptor kit finally came out wiht a new version with a full lifetime warranty...the Raptor V2...figured I'd try them out and let you guys know!
YES!!! I <3 DDM. Anyone who asks what HID's they should get I say DDM. They come in a small little black box. When I first got them I was like...... There's no way they got all the parts in there. I've dealt a lot with HID's, so I didn't think all the pieces would fit. If you have any trouble installing them, I know quite a bit about them, but I don't really get you 8th gen guys' needing the DRL bypass or whatever. From what I understand though, it gives ya'll a lot of problems.
Basically the Daytime Running Lights provide a lower voltage. This causes our HID lights to "flicker" because they are not being fully powered. This will damage your HID Ballast & bulbs. There are a few options in "bypassing" the DRL's. Some people choose to run their Low Beams ON 24/7, use an anti-flicker kit (Low Beams ON 24/7 without having to manually switch on the Low Beams), or do some splicing of the OEM wiring. I provide a DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness that is 100% plug & play which does not consist of running your lights ON 24/7 or splicing of any sort. More info can be found in my sig. As for the OP, I've shipped out your DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness. I also PM'd you the tracking number. 8)
