You guys think these old schools would look good on our car? I'm actually going to repaint them gunmetal and repolish the lips if I get them. This is a rly quick chop on the person holding the wheels up because we were at a slant and the wheels dont stay vertical. Just to give you an idea.
Ive never really been a fan of Konigs.... and I say that admitting that I bought a set for my Corolla back in the day  I like the ones in your signature
Yeah, I know they're rip offs, but if I get them, it'll be for less than 100 for all four; can't go wrong with it. I actually want multi spokes too since our car came with multispokes, but for now, what can i do.. Steve, I didn't know you own a corolla.. which gen?
I used to rallycross a 99 Corolla. I had saved up money for SO LONG, and got new suspension for it. The next evening when it was parked on the street in front of where I was living, a stupid lady drove her truck into it. It pushed it up over the curb and into a telephone pole. The whole story after that is BS too....the whole experience really was a hit for me....made me very cynical
Yeah, it's still in good condition; there is just months of dust and brake grimes that I need to wipe off from the inner wheel well. Some sanding and I should be set. Steve, man ffs, I just hate it when shit like that happens. I used to live in a ghetto part of Long Beach before moving out here and boy, am I glad we have a car garage now. Hope it never happens on your 4b11.
UPDATE Well, I did pick them up. After 3 1/2 hours of cleaning them. I was fortunate enough to not pay anything until I can see if they actually fit on my car first. This is where I need you guys' help. The wheels currently on it are 225/40 x 18 x 92w. (pic1) When I look at it, it looks like the wheels are actually too big for the rims. (pic2) My stock tires, in comparison is probably about half an inch off or so only. Minus the red part. (pic3) My question is would you guys be able to tell how wide it is and what tire should actually fit on it? 215? I don't know any tire shops that can hook me up with that without charging me for labor just so I can see it, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. My guess is 18x7.5 with a 40mm offset? If so, would they fit our car?
Ill have pictures of my new wheels/tires on Sat or Sun, but they are 18x8 and the tires are 225/40R/18 as well. I havent really inspected them closely yet. Ill get you similar pics to what you just posted so you can compare.
i ahve 18x8.5 with 245/45r18 tires mounted on my lancer and i have no problem, still im getting 225/40r18 to get closer to the stock size!
Alright, thanks for the inputs guys. This is going to be a project for me so I just want to be sure I wont have problems with installation. There is some fixing, sanding, and painting that I need to do on all 4 wheels. Don't want to go buy all the supplies and then find out they didn't fit. So stealth, what offset is your wheels? Might be a dumb question, but does the offset on the tire effect or is a factor when putting on new tires? You said you had 45's, then are putting 40's on.
i am lowering the car so the 245/45r18 wont fit when lowered plus the 45 serie tires are not that good for track racing the car on a road course btw my wheel offset is EJ 41 (5mm more outward than the stock wheel wich are EJ 46)
