So i drive a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer ES Sport, the problem i'm having is that I just changed my oil and I can't seem to be able to reset the Oil Change/servicing screen. I've changed my oil several times now and i've reset it but it won't reset. I read the manual, it says to keep the "INFO" button pressed (left of the dash gauges) for about 2 seconds on the oil mileage/month screen and it will start flashing (and yes it does). But then it says to press it again to reset, which doesn't happen, the light just stops flashing but the mileage/months aren't reset. i've posted a picture so you know what i'm asking about any ideas how to reset it? (if i'm doing it wrong) or what shuold i do?
turn the key so that the car doesnt start but everything lights up. hold down the button and you should be able to change it, make sure the car is not started. very important
i tried what you said, but still, all it does is blink when i hold it down, and when i press it again, it only stops blinking but it still shows as if I hadn't done an oil change.
