without the stripes, just like flow said, stripes look cool on muscle cars but not really on the lancer..
you can put it on the side, but not on top...i thought about the same thing, but when i did some photoshop on it...it look really ugly... i say lose the stripes
Do it! Be the guy that doesn't color within the lines. All those other guys are hating on you b/c you have the balls to do it.

actually I don't think the strips look that bad. Maybe a solid instead of 2 strips... Think outside of the box...lol...
I like stripes, but not that thick of stripes unless its on a domestic hotrod. It might be cool to have the short hash stripes that were on the Corvette Gran Sport Maybe even with one stripe down the middle.
Not the two stripes in the center... I personally am not a fan of the double stripes. All too common, although not on a Lancer. What may look good is if you had an offset cowl hood and put the stripe going over the cowl over the driver's side. Myself, I would not do it. These cars speak for themselves and they say "I AM TO SEXY FOR THE STRIPE" LMAO. But don't let us make the decision for you, be your self. I won't hate on you. Good luck.
