Ok so here the deal. I bought some rims for my car. Ever since I put them on my car, it vibrates when I hit about 70+mph. The shop that installed them said they are perfectly balanced... and they also said that they check to make sure the rims are true (round) before they install it. As of today I've bought a new set of tires, had my tires balanced and rotated 3 times, all by different shops, bought hub rings, and today I had my alignment checked. I really like the rims but the vibration is annoying, like some days its bad and then on other days its barely noticable.... so would it be the rims??? cuz i figure if it were the rims it would be a constant vibration not on and off... if you were in my shoes would you keep the rims and deal with the vibration or would u put the stock rims back on? the only problem is that one of my stock rims has pretty bad curb rash and one has minor... due to some a$$ hole running me into a curb... i don't want the rims i bought go to waste though.... or is there anything else i could try to do? if not the next step is to swap back the stock rims to see if it still vibrates... also i was told that the way the put the weights on could cause it to vibrate because they put the weights on the inside of the rims instead of the outside?? could that affect it???
+1...you can ruin, your suspension with all that vibration. Why would you want to just deal with it. Get your money back!
