So I installed HIDS today, and I had to jack it up to remove my front splitters, and I did it on top of my driveway which goes up, like a hill, so then I un-jacked it cause everything was finished, and my car looks higher... My brother also said it looks higher... What do I do?! Do i just drive it normally, and it'll sag back down? I jacked it on a flat surface and unjacked it and it got a lil lower but its still high! HELP
jus drive it. its gona be fine after awhile. ur springs were stretched a bit when you jacked it up.. after awhile of driving it will go back down
yeah, your shocks just fully extended...no biggie. it'll go back to normal after a few miles of regular driving.
every time i jack up my car it seems to me like that... drive it down ur street and swerve it real hard from side to side and it should bring them back down.. if not remove ur springs and jump on them lol jk jk 8)
happened to the first time to me when i was putting snows on my moms car.. scary stuff- looks and feels like broken suspension
Strange my car went the other way when I put a Eaton diff and a FWD Vibe Tranny in the trunk lol, DISCLAIMER was only in there for bout 30 min so no harm was done to the lancer
Wow sounds heavy, something like that wouldnt touch my trunk unless I didnt know about it. The Disclaimer......... lol . O yeah, I like the way the car looks on uneven ground or with a full car, I have a picture where my car looks dropped in the back but its only becuase of the bump there. And one day when I was pumping gas I noticed my car looked like I had the teins or something, it was only becuase of all the people in it  .
Well I didnt expect a 04 Pontiac Vibe 4-banger tranny to weigh so damn much, The Eaton was just the unit not the whole rear end, but that tranny was a bitch to get in and out. I was gonna leave it in there over night and take it to school in the mornin but I saw what it did and went o shit hauled ass to the school 2 min down the road and got it out no harm done
