hey guys sorry if i posted in the wrong section. ive looked but couldnt find a section in LT to give reviews on online stores and let ppl steer clear of bad online shops. long post! About 2 weeks ago i was plan on buying some momo racing pedals. i did some searching looking for the cheapest price. i stumbled upon onewaymotorsports.com it was the cheapest ($80). so i ordered. on their site they claimed to ship same day. i didnt care if they did or not, just as long as it was shipped in a mannerly time. so i get their autmomated email about the order i placed but no status of it being processed or not. i wait a whole week and still no update on my product. i tried emailing them to no avail. i decide to call the number on the site...and it turns out to be some girl's house number and she said she helps deal with onewaymotorsports.com. she says she has no idea why they would put her number as the contact info. anyways she tells me that she'd notify onewaymotorsports about my problem. 2 weeks passed by and i really had no hope of them sending me my pedals. until today, i checked my mail and it did come. so i opened it and it was in bad condition. they shipped poorly, basically with no cushion. the package was ripped on the side and i have a feeling they sent me a used one because there were cracks on the pedals. here's the pics: sadly they did not live up to their slogan: "where value meets performance". steer clear from this dealer guys/girls.
after the long wait...i really dont want to deal with them anymore especially having to resend it to them.
Always check the Better Business Bureau website before ordering from these companies, many of them are fly-by-night operations with little or no emphasis on customer service. Try to get your money back for these pedals and file a claim with the BBB so others know what kind of company this is.
Yeah after i got screwed over with my fujita SRI return. I now buy only wtih credit card. That way if anything goes wrong I can call my card and get things cancled or refunded.
