Anyone heard of the rumor that mitsu might be releasing the turbo from the new evo x 4b11t for us to use? buy it from them, have them install it so we don't void the warranty. even though i'm sure the prices will be insanly high. just wondering if anyone else heard of this.

its a 80% plus possibility as the new evo will have the same block 4b11T as out lancers 4b11. of course it will be al lot more beefier. with better internals and all, i belive we could run about 10psi on our motors.. we will just have to wait and see. i already bet that RRM is digging some info on that and trying to release something within few months, i am surpised that they already have so many parts out, comparing to other vendors...but give it time, even ebay will be swamped with parts. the car is so new. but has al lot of potential..

just saw a evo MR in mitsu show room it wasnt even the new one since its not out yet, but they wanted 35.9K for it so dealers will jack up the price on the new evo x

well the mr is also the top model for the evo's now. the base models starts at 28g. i'm sure just like our lancers, there will be a base model for a reasonable price, then the fully loaded badass one for 40g+

A friend of mine was in Vegas this past weekend and saw a "Lancer" body with the black covers over the front and back. He noticed the front of the car had a fmic and took a pic. In the pic you can barely see the front mount but in the latest magazine, Sport Car Compact shows a spy photo of the "X" and it looks similar to the one he took. BTW, I like your banners w/lancertuners.com

That would be nice if Mitsu put out that turbo as an a la carte' option even if the price is jacked up, worth it if u keep the warantee

im thinkin bout just doin an engine swap with the evo when it comes out or switching to it completely

you're better of switching for an evo than engine swapping.

If u can get past the potentially huge dealer markup for the new EVO

no doubt the evo x will be expensive ... but i would do that before doing an engine swap for sure
