Those are way over priced you should buy from autocityimport.com they are a sponsor here. I have a greddy se axle back and love it i would go with ethier the magna flow cat back or the greddy se the magna flow gives a little bit better performance but the greddy looks and sounds better in my opinion. so its your choice

best bet is to keep looking and get the full exhaust. its a better price for you money. you can also buy a muffler, anyone that you like, and take it to a muffler shop. they can custom make the piping for a couple hundred bucks. it will save you a lot of money.

my dealer wont let me do the full exhaust except for them.. they only want me to do the axle back exhaust, because they told me if i buy a full exhaust they will void my warranty? do your dealer told you this also? mine is lancer 09 gts....

They cannot legally do that. As long as the emissions equipment stays on the vehicle (cats, O2 sensors, EGR valves, etc.). The only way that they can legally deny warranty coverage, is if the part that has been installed directly causes a malfunction. Example: installing a CAI or exhaust will not deny coverage on a bad crank sensor, wheel bearing, trans problems, etc.

I would get the full exhaust by Magnaflow. But, I wouldn't get it from the dealer. Buy it off of some website that's a lot cheaper (Hi Power Motorsports, Auto City Import) and do the install yourself. It would be really easy on a new car. As long as your bolts aren't rusted. Only reason I couldn't do mine myself is because the bolts were rusted to hell. When we bought the car used it came from up north, Ohio if I remember correctly, and they put salt on the roads to combat the ice and it rusts stuff. It sucks, because almost all of the bolts on the outer part of my car are rusted.

Exhaust on a car + baby = greatness. I have a 2 year old and a 4 month old...and its fine. if we put the boys into my car, they're both usually asleep in about 10 mins. I've had times that one or both of the boys were upset, and when I crank up the car and go for a drive they stop. But as Hunk said, exhaust drone gets a little old on long trips.

When you're driving at a certain speed for a while, and hear the same exhaust note.
