Idk about RRM's but the one your talking about on Ebay sounds like you have to trim it some to get it to fit perfectly. If you have this one let us know if you had to do this.

Post some pics of it on your ride. Like to see what it looks like. Might buy it if it looks good.

RRMs is not overpriced. They make no money on it actually. Its direct from Mitsubishi and is an EVO authentic plate kit. Not a knockoff.

i have the "ebay" one, the one sold by evo_soul, it is nice, inexpensive and looks great, all you have to do is slightly trim some of the plastic away with a razor blade, it fits perfect and much better than OEM, trust me even my dealer was like umm wow those are better than the ones we put on the X.

    :)

Also, you must drill 2 dime sized holes in your bumper.

Mine wasn't trimmed at all.... ??

But ya... now if I ever wanna move it there's gonna be two holes on the side of my bumper but I figure I'll just leave it there.

The original plate was in the middle but I covered those holes up with vinyl.

do you not have to drill holes with rrms?

You have to drill atleast 2 new dime sized holes with both kits.

is there an alternative to drilling holes?
Like any kind of adhesive that won't damage the paint?

I have read some where of someone trying to use velcro... but I'm not sure how that turned out. I'm pretty sure in the long run that thing can fall off.
