   and after watching it i thought OK well this is easy, and bought a few strips from auto zone, shown here:
   
   
   so i attempted to install but i guess you need another piece of wire idk? please help im getting too frustrated over this!

   to be honest you might not wanna do that. messing with wires can void warrentys pretty easily
