    This is Bryn1987 here to say that he will be leaving LT for good

    I am sorry to say but i know longer going to be coming to this forum. Reason being I don't see it going anywhere. I was banned for making a simple comment voicing my opinion without a warning. I believe any forum that bans someone without warning for voicing their opinion is not truly a forum. The reasoning for my ban if any of you do not know was for this thread http://lancertuners.com/modules.php?nam ... pic&t=4247 and being "disrespectful" but as u can see i wasn't disrespectful until i was disrespected by being called a "douche" yet i was the one that was banned but not the new member because well, he is "new" and LT has decided that having more members is more important then the integrity of the forums itself.

    I could understand an immediate ban for the following situations:

    1. Previously receiving one or more warnings for my supposed behavior (I had not received any warnings at all)

    2. If both involved in the "disrespecting" were banned (I was the only one banned because LT apparently believes having more new members is more important then a member that has made many contributions to the forums... including but not limited to: PS Requests, answering many questions, introducing ideas to problems, etc. [check my previous posts for further examples under the name Bryn1987])

    3. For spamming the forums (such as spamming bots, an obvious one)

    4. Completely lashing out toward the forum (such as calling LT a piece of ****, which i am not, it's just an example)

    and a few others that don't come to mind right now...

    For all of those wondering, I received a 7 day ban including an IP ban (would just like to note to Prophet that there are ways around an IP ban that should be looked into because the "way" that i'm talking about can also cause many security leaks as well as spam bots), so yes that means i will be unbanned but i will no longer be posting on this forum after this post because of all the reasons i have previously stated.

    So in the end I would like to thank everyone I have met for the great discussions and arguments I have had on this forum (that's another problem w/ LT, they get don't like arguments, not talking about insulting people type of arguments but constructive arguments) but I will now be moving on to another forum because I don't see this forum getting very far.

    yo sorry dude..i didnt even know they can ban for that..thats messed up.
    i read alot of ur post and stuff. u were like the guy that i thought was like a genius on this forum. and that KRU dude.

    but ya..didnt mean that.

    this post lead me to make another post...

    no hard feelings, i don't accept the apology but only because i believe u have no reason to apologize it had nothing to do w/ u for the reason of me leaving... as far as being a genius :roll: thank you, but there are a lot more smarter and informed persons on this forums then me, and hopefully they'll continue to do what i have done in my short time on this forum, which is to help the forum to grow with information and ideas...

    which you kinda were being. you should have been warned. youd of apologized. and itd be OVER. but you got BANNED! sux dude. take the 7 days and come on back tho

    Sorry to see you go Bryan... I hope you the best of luck in the future.

    I appeciate the suggestion about the IP ban but an IP ban was not done on you. I am the only person with access to do that kind of ban. If someone wants in they will get in. Daily backups on the server is where I keep everything safe.

    As far as warnings I was under the impression from the other mods and admins that warnings where given and pm's where sent to you in the past. I will look into that and make sure we are being fair but in either case I trust my admins to use sound judgement if a ban is called for.

    I have been reviewing your past posts and I can see where the problems may seem to come from. You have also been helpful at times. In either case this forum is still growing and has done alot of maturing since we started it. I don't see it failing and I see it actually being the number one source for Lancer Information. I hope to see you come back and whatever problems are worked out between the staff and you after your 7 day ban has been done. IMO you have been very mature about this and I apperciate it.

    Going to lock this now...

    So staff decides to give you a temp ban and now you're just going to leave the site completely? Dude...its like being put in time out...for a week. Time to think about what happened, how your approach to the situation may have caused offense to other members, adjust it a bit because not everyone perceives information the same, and move on.

    Its one thing to say whatever you want on a forum but different in the real world. Honestly, I would take this time to see at how this cyber environment could be placed in real world setting. In the job market a person would probably be written up for disrespecting and offending fellow workers. Given we don't have write up slips so our week-long time out is in place.

    Now this is my personal opinion, which can be contested, but I think this is a good way of defusing the situation.

    You have obviously put forth some effort to this site by your shear number of posts. Do you really think its necessary to say "F*** it" and leave? I hope you do take the time to think about it, even for just a few seconds, and return to provide the forum and its members with the knowledge I assume you possess.

    Hope to see you in a week...
