Hi, we had some pretty cold weather here last week and let's say that my 09 GTS did not like it at all...

Started OK, but gauges lights where flickering... Same thing with the heater fans.. and RPM gauge..
The radio did not power up at all !!!!

I waited about 3 minutes... stoped the car and restarted it... Radio came on, but i lost all my Channel presets and my Bluetooth setup was completely gone !
No more phone configured... had to do it all again.. and agin.. for 3 days in a row !!

Anything like that happened to someone else in here ?

My car struggled to start a lil and made weird revving nosies for a few seconds but other than that there were no issues. I had the radio goin' and heated seats and defroster going no problems.

ya that's pretty cold!!! i can't stand 20 degrees F let alone -30 holy crap it probably has something to do with the battery if you lost all your presets

I think Beav is right with this one... check all of your terminal connections as well as the battery itself.

Something like that happened to mine the other day.

Down here in Newfoundland it was about -20 (windchill of -27) and the bottons on the wheel would not work and my bluetooth had to be reset.

Don't think our cars like the cold to much

my car tends to not like to start up right away in the cold and the wheels have been frozen to the ground a couple of times. Besides that no real problems

My car struggles to start sometimes but even on milder days it still does it .... maybe it's just a Mitsu thing LOL.

Definitely not a winter car IMO

The car works just fine in the winter once it is started untill you try and start stop or turn then it has some problems.

Yeah once it struggles to start... takes a half an hour just to defrost the windshield or get any kind of HOT air coming from the vents...

LOL I'm buyin a winter beater next year. My car's been nothin' but a pain in the winter.

just get up go outside start your car then get ready for the day. By the time you go back out it should be all good

I shouldn't have to wait 30-45 mins for the car to warm up lol

My mom's Cavalier takes like 10 mins....

this is true but you learn to live with what you have when you like everything else about the car you have

Just a suggestion for you cold climate folks (if you already do this feel free to ignore me). Try using some cardboard supported by (insert something like bungy cords but cold proof) and block a small portion of the radiator. Start with a small part and then increase coverage till you have a balance between fast warming and not over heating. I had a Suzuki Samurai when I lived in Maryland and had to cover half of it to get any warm air/defrost, but when I did, it was toasty in about 3-5 mins.
