Lancer/Evo headlights question

    As the topic says...will the Evo X headlights fit the 08+ Lancers?

    i think this has been talked about before. know one really knows. some people say yes and others say no

    yeah...i know people have talked about it but I couldn't find it nor could I remember. There's a company doing mods to Evo lights and I want to know if they will fit the Lancer. If they do then we could possible have some aftermarket headlights on the way

    they will work, I have been to my dealership and opened up an X and looked at the headlights they bolt in the same postions, and are they same size should work.

    If somebody can explain to me why the Evo X projector headlamps WOULDN'T fit in a Lancer, I have a cookie to award you.

    Hasn't anybody here seen an Evo X with the reflector headlamps? Or a non-US Lancer with the projector housing? I am so confident that the Evo X headlamps WILL fit the Lancer that I am willing to do it myself!

    *calls dealership*

    $799 PER HOUSING?!? AND THAT'S WITHOUT TAX?!? You outta yo' mind! :D

    Since the only people that would want the projector housing already have HIDs and all the bulbs (city, turn, low and high beam), there's no reason to have a full and complete housing. Stealership quoted me with $549 per housing with NO bulbs or ballasts. Just housing and the wiring.

    If you can find a good friend that works with Mitsu that can get you invoice price, you can probably pick up 2 for the price of 1. Not so bad when you think about it especially considering they are OEM parts.
