Just received LED Tails...

    I just ordered the LED Tail Lights for my 09. Has anyone else gotten them? How do you like them? Were there any install issues? I go tthe smoke or gunmetal color. I have the Graphite Gray paint so I figured it was closer than the black. If anyone has them on their Lancers if you could direct me to pics that would be awesome. Thanks as always for your help.

    I thought they looked pretty good, but I don't know if I would ever buy them, if I had an 8 or 9g. Idk.

    i love mine just when your installing them sread the wire are the end of the black thing that you plug in that way they touch the metal inside you stock socket

    Do they look good? i got an offer for 200/pair.....i heard that you have to buy a separeted white bulb,is that true?

    I dont know. What exactly do you mean a separated white bulb? I love how they look. Why would you have to buy any bulbs for it, it is supposed to be a complete set up.

    I got them on my ride. i have a pic on "PROGRESS REPORTS". You can check it out there. I like mine alot. I got the black ones. They look SICK at night and most lancers don't have them yet so they are a head turner when your driving down the road. They were a bit confusing for me when I did the install. I know I did it wrong now cause I ended up splicing all the wires on the original bulbs and just used electircal tape. I guess you were just supposed to "PLUG IN PLAY". I still cant figure out how that was supposed to work. But if you do decide to splice the wires, it does work and just make sure you leave enough wire in case you gotta switch back to the stock bulbs, that way you can wire them back. Hope that helps some.

    I bought Seperate white led bulbs to keep everything led

    so I just got my LED Tails today. I was looking at them and I figured I would have to change the backup light to led but do I have to change the turn signals also? I saw a hole where the bulb is supposed to go. They look great but dissappointing that I have to supply my own bulbs for my LED tails. Kinda misleading on their part.

    Ok, so I went to go install the lights today right. I am about to get the passenger side inatalled and find out that the trunk piece LED wiring does not work. I plugged the stock bulb back in and the other side ot this plug and they all work. I am so disappointed. Now I have to send them back to Cali wait for them to feel like sending them back and get then wait for them to get back to me. I am looking at almost a month out now for lights. I am SAD.

    That blows. I hate it when I get a part that doesn't fit or work like it's supposed to. Good luck, man.

    Ok so the Tail lights work, there was an issue with one of the socket wires on the lights. I had to reseat the wire basically. Anyway now that they work and I got my serarate leds for the turn signal and the backup light, I noticed the LEDs dont fit in the housing of the light, they work but dont fit in the hole, lol. Anyone who has them where did you get your leds so I can get some that fit properly. This is a pain in my ass. Thanks in advance.

    Pics or gtfo. Lol. A friend of mine had a problem somewhat like this, where its the right bulb size, but it's too long. Where did you get them from? I usually deal with v-leds.com. They're pretty good.

    I ordered them from amazon.com. I will check v-keds thanks. I am having issues with pics. I will try to get some going. Sorry bout that

    Lol. It's no big deal I was just making a joke, man. Or try our supporting vendor automoglow. Nevermind. I thought amg had actual bulbs and such, but it just looks like they only carry kits and such.

    I was just on V-leds and they have exactly what I need but they are out of the amber turn signals. If its not one thing it is another, lol. Oh well it will all be worth it when it all comes together.

    Did you e-mail about it? See when they'll be back in stock? I can't imagine it would take too long for them to restock them. They're rarely out of stock of things.

    you see....i knew you have to buy extra bulbs for it.....when thet say complete kits they should be with the COMPLETE kit....

    gunmetal. I have the GG so I thought it would go well. I like it. Yeah they should include all the lights. Kinda dumb. I am gonna order the bulbs from V-leds I think, they seem to be the right size to fit in the housing. Thanks H.U.N.K. for the advice.
