it is pretty straight forward... first you gotta unplug your lights, take your lamps out then hook up the hids to the cable (its plug and play) and you are done... if you have any more questions, feel free to post them here ;)

being how I'm going to have to have my lights on all the time there is a slight annoyance... I have the navigation and when ever I have my lights on during the day it dims and it is almost impossible to see the screen. Is there a way I can make it to where it doesn't dim?

Go to the navi settings...you can adjust the light appearance through that...I know how annoying it is not being able to see it during the day b/c u have to keep ur HIds on all the time. I take a lot of trips and depends on the navi, ON bright days sometimes its just too bright outside and you will never be able to see it. and at nite u have to change it back b/c its blinding

alright ill have to check again cuz i looked but the only thing I found to adjust was the contrast color from night to day or auto, and all that did was change the navi screen from black to white, with the lights on

    Thanks Ektor...make me feel bad...:(

WELL...there is a way to disable the DRL. I know someone did it one here and that I have no idea. By disabling the DRL, that may help your contrast prob. I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, when you buy a HID kit, be sure it has a relay. Powerhouse has HID's for like 135 shipped and I think they have everything included. you can also purchase HID kits on ebay for about 70. I don't know about the ebay sellers but I can only assume that Powerhouse would have good customer service in case something went wrong or if you have problems. They are a supporting vendor so...

I heard that installing HID's isn't hard. I'm new to it as well so I feel ya. If you do purchase them, do a How-To on installing. I don't think anyone has done that. I may do one in a few weeks if one isn't posted. Good luck...

installation was pretty straight foward...it was kind of over whelming at first caus there was mad wires, its pretty much a game , only certain things plugged into a socket so it was pretty easy, Ididn't even have to look at the directions.

As for contrast and brightness problems...when i first got my HId's it was annoying as hell to see the screen. I ended up splicing them into my parkng lights which disabled the DRLs, probably the best thing I could ever do with my car, cause I got all my controls back and can completely turn off my Hids with no flickering.
