just got my SRI

    well i finally got my SRI :D and i was wondering if anyone had to disconnect the battery so the ecu would reset itself for the intake.any suggestions please??? :?

    Well from what I heard "...you have to do that so the computer recognizes the new set up."

    I don't know anything about that, because I still don't have mine. But I'm pretty sure some one knows.

    Since you did ask that question, I myself would like some one to clear that up. Because I get people telling me you have to disconnect it first, and half telling me you don't have to.

    if the CEL light comes on then yes dissconnect it and trying fixing it and then turn it on but you should just let the car sit for 20 min on and just let the engine idle

    Yeah, it would've been a good idea to disconnect it while installing. Just do it now. Turn your car on and let it idle for about 10 minutes so the engine can adapt to the change in air it is able to suck in. Then you should be fine after that.
