    Hey guys,

I noticed that when I'm excellerating quickly I get a slight vibration coming from the dash area.. it was driving me nuts so I started to excelerate and placeing my hand on the dash, at the same time, to narrow it down to a general location.

Well.. the culprit seams to be the heater knobs.. they vibrate ever so slighly and its driving me nuts. They didnt really do this before, but since the exhaust and the SRI install, there is more interior resinence.. cuasing these knobs to vibrate.

If you feel the heater knobs, there is a wiggle to them. I was trying to think of ways to tighten them up... maybe felt behind them, or shove a rubber o-ring behind it?

Anyone else notice this or any other interior vibrations? If so, did you fix it somehow, or maybe you have some suggestions for me?

    Thanks

i dont think that sri and the exhaust could do that because i have the rf system in my car and the bass causes a lot of vibration in the car so i don't see how those two things could cause it

I came to the conclution of the exhaust becuase with the flowmaster 40 series I have installed, it produces a very deep base tone when excellerating. Its almost like I put in a old base cd from the early 90's... you know the ones.. all base and nothing else, lol.

The exhaust guy said that with the two cats and the resinator on the stock portion of the exhaust, it would be very deep in tone.... and he was right. From about 1400-2000 rpms its very deep, then it climbs in pitch when it gets to around 2600-3200 rpms. Once you get higher its starts quieting down somewhat.

The overall noise-tone of the exhaust is great, but with the very very low baseiness to it, Thats why I was thinking that migh be the cuase... I could be wrong, just throwing it out there.

Have you tried anything to fix your vibration blacksheep?

the exhaust i had on my last car caused most of the interior to rattle :p .. the rock hard racing suspension and driving on bad roads didnt help much either.

Cars rattle.. the moment you fix one another pops up... just turn up the tunes and keep on crusing :p

i put my works axle back on (fed 5spd) about 2-3g and 5ish theres alot of interior vibration. its the plastic area by the back glass, the glove box and the thing to move the seat belt by my left ear.
