The driver side beam is too high now. I already checked the bulb and it's installed correctly. Does anyone know how to adjust the vretical alignment of the driver side headlamp? Thanks.
did you install the hid bulb correctly, i remember when i had hid's in it was a bittttch to install becasue such tight fitment. Play with the bulb and move it around thats how i did it, and also make sure if you have an HID kit that the bulb that has the long stick on the bulb is either close or on the bottom
I have not addressed the DRL issue just yet. I spent most of the time removing the bumper cover and installing the ballasts in the stock location under the headlamp housing. Maybe I'll get around to it this weekend.
when I put the HIDs on my ride, I didn't have this issue (alignment) I guess I just lucked out, but yes, the DRL sux, my headlights have to be on all the time or else it'll start flickering, (which also looks cool when ur parked at night, they look like strobe lights, hehehe)
So I guess what it comes down to is no one knows how to adjust the vertical throw if the headlamp...since that was my inital question and all.
i think theres a way to get rid of the DTL check the owers manuel i think i saw a form on them on here. . .
did u get the 1200k?? because the i had those on the lancer and i had the same problem.. i switched over to the 8000k and they fit perfectly
Nope. I have the Rikken Sport 6K HIDs. It's wierd b/c it's only the driver side. Oh well, when I take my car in for it's first oil change I'll have the dealer realign the headlamp.
i installed my HID with relay hardness and i have the same problem that the driver side its high but i think is because the relay so it looks like the relay gives more energy to that side because the driver side looks more shiney. Does someone know how to put the same volume of light to both sides?
