I bought headlight strobes and as it turns out, there's no way to take the headlights out of your car without removing the bumper, and that's just WAY too much of a job....

So... any ideas on where I should put the headlight strobes??

Or if anyone knows how to put strobes in WITHOUT removing the headlights... that'd be awesome.

I dunno about the fog lights, just because my underglow is crazy and does tons of different flashing/colors/dancing on its own... I dunno if that'd be too much stuff goin' on around the bottom of my car.

As far as the grill goes... these strobes were made specifically for going inside a headlight, do you think if I put them in the grill any rain/water will short them out... ??

u can take ur bulbs out.
drill a tiny hole for wires.
insert strobe in2 opening where bulb mounts.
run strobe wires thru sm. hole drilled.
    seal hole with silcocone
    connect wires
    reinstall bulbs

u guys crack me up, but ty!

Ok I looked at the link and yup just what I thout after seeing ur post.

Ok, well u have to drill a hole in the head light housing from the top if you
dont want to take the head lights out and
    do it from the bottom.
    any ways
drill hole that will allow strob to fit thru
be fore so remove bulb for access into headlight
create a catch to redirect shavings out of the head light
u can use a paper towel tube cut in half or less long ways
    then insert thru bulb area.
this should catch most of the shavings.
if u can tape catch in place then use ur vac hose
    attachment and turn on.
this will help catch over 95% if done right

    ok

    after all that
    drill hole
    clean out headlight
    insert strobe
    connect wires
    test
    seal with silicone
    re-install bulb

    thats that

wow i just saw this and no offense to kru but youd think that more of you would know how to do simple mods like this... and before someone asked what kind of mods ive done i dont have anything crazy dont cuz i worked my but off to get the car so moneys a BIG problem....

anyways sorry bout that well if you dont want to do want kru said and you just want them on the car but not necessarily in the front you can always put them in your reverse lights for fun when someone is tailgating you! lol

So, I decided to take the easy route and put 'em in where the turn signals are.

I figure since they'll only ever be on when I'm at shows/parked somewhere, and it's so easy to take the turn signal out and put the strobe light in there... makes sense, and its super bright in that spot.

Then when I'm done showin' them off, all you have to do is take 'em out and pop the turn signal bulb back in.

Easy as pie and no drilling to be done!

u gotta remember to try to do it on a day w/ low humidity and make sure u seal it really good, or else u'll get fog inside ur headlights :(
