just pull on it and thats it. Comes right off! Btw kru, does yours sit firmly or does it twist? The shiftknob i had would rotate and not sit 100% firmly. So i took it off and put stock one back on.

The silver collar on the bottom of the shift knob is just clipped on, but very well. You pull straight dwn using a lil elbow grease

Once removed, there is a metal retainer sleeve that the Knob slide over and locks into place.
There will b 2 tabs that you will need to depress in order to slide knob up.

once you have the knob off, you will c how the metal sleeve locks into place. you can use pliers to turn the sleeve 90 degrees and pull up.

As you can tell by the pics and because I luv u peeps so much, I sacrificed my knob and then C.A. the pieces back together and then took pics and worked it backwards to show a few step by steps.

    FTW!

for sure brotha. my friend is selling me his turbo gauge and Defi link. the turbo gauge matches our gauge cluster color (amber red). they looked really nice in his STI and they matches his whole dash. they wind up at the start (wish our cars were like that; self calibrating). but im going to look further into it and let you know. my friend said there are some better gauges out there, im just going with this cuz they are just sitting collecting dust.
