I was driving on the freeway yesterday and the car in front of me was sending rocking flying toward my lancer. Is there any thing I can use to protect the car front body and wind shield? Such as a invisible clear cover, or divert air flow to blow the object away? I already replace the front windshield a few times and I am tired of wasting money for it, so any ideas would help.
I forget what it's called, but there's a type of clear covering you can pay to have put on your front bumper and hood to protect against rock damage. I'd check with tint places and see if they offer that as well.
It's called invisible bra. Google it it's made from 3m plastics. Good stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
huh, thanks for the info you guys, what about protecting the front windshield, can I use the invisible bra on it too or is there something else? I already had to replace the front windsheild twice, once at 2009 and again at 2010. And I really dont want to replace it again for 2011 or any time soon or ever again.
theres one that is a 8mm polyurethane coating that can be applied to the front of your car just like adding stickers to it. Costs around the same as it would to have tint added to your windows.
Only thing I see with that, is what about scratches? If you get sand or something filmy on the windshield and use your wipers to try and get some of it off, wouldn't it scratch it to all hell?
