How much was your Lancer GTS. OTD?

    Iam planning on buying a Lancer GTS 2009 and i wanted to know what you guys payed for it OTD?
    I was thinking of emailing dealers and saying i want a GTS in manual with sun and sound for 18000 out the door. That is without rebates.
    So can you tell me how much you payed plus what options you got?

    check out autotrader and ebay. prices will vary greatly depending on where you live and what the market is like where you live. if the car is selling where you are then it will probably be higher or they won;'t budge much. if they arent selling then of course they will do more to lower the price to get you into the car.

    I plan on buying new and considering how in i seen the new 08+ lancers once a month iam guessing there not doing that great in the sales.

    i may be wrong or blind but i see no diff in 08 to 09 and i factory rebate of 1000 off the 08

    The 09s have the 2.4L engine vice the 2.0L in 2008. There is a slight and I do mean slight difference in whp between the two.

    I purchased my car July 4, 2007 and paid $16k for my manual GTS with sunroof. I made them take the Rockford Fosgay crap out. I wasn't going to pay over a grand for such horrible quality. With the 09s out, you should be able to pick up an 08 GTS anywhere between $16k and $19k. The problem if finding one that is manual. I had to order mine and wait 2 weeks.

    You got a real good price. I want the 09 for the 2.4 liter and why do you say the audio system sucks i heard it was good.

    The RF system is pure crap. Its not thier top of the line products. Not even thier middle quality stuff. Its way below theier lowest retail stuff. These were mass produced for Mitsubishi at a budget price. The sound quality is pure crap. Especially for the extra $1000 to $1500 you pay for it. They say is like a 600 watt system when in reality its about 200 watts. The door speakers only hold about 25 - 30 watts. Do you realize what kind of aftermarket system from an authorized dealer you can get???? My headunit alone is waaaaaaaaaay better than the stock crap. I only paid $400 for my Pioneer AVIC-F700BT. Both Pioneer amps totaled $300, 12" Pioneer sub was $45, and component sets for both doors for $125. Thats only $870 and the sound quality is like a 400% improvement.

    i paid 18k for my 08 es lancer. i got touch screen, gts body, the keyless, and gts spoiler, nit in the tires (well worth), and all the fees (plates and stuff)
