How long did you guys have to wait for your lancer?

    So, i ordered my 1.8 mivec lancer the 1st march, i was told the car would be delivered in july.
    just called the dealership, and my car arrives on boat the 17'th august. thats 5 1/2 months... i'm pissed, coz tonight the buyer of my current car is picking my ford focus up, and the dealership told me when i bought my car, that i could get a car from them when mine would be sold, they did tell me to try and wait as long as possible , 1 month in advance...
    now he tells me the insurance only allows 3 weeks of replacement car. he'll better hook me up, or i'm going elsewhere for maintenance.

    so, this means you're gonna have to be a bit more patient to see pic's of a belgian lancer... pfff

    My car was built in Japan and I had to wait almost 3 months for it to get here.

    I ordered it near the beginning of May, it arrived near the end of July.

    I happened to show up at the dealership like 5min after they pulled the exact one I wanted off the transport truck. Got it on the spot :lol: .

    I only waited three days because I didn't want a gay autotragic with homo paddle shifters.

    waited 2 weeks they had to look for a white i wanted nothing else BUT white haha

    i waited 2 months or so

    story:

    i went 2 the dealership and bought the red lancer GTS on the lot

    but then a day later i wanted the 1 with S&S so i had 2 wait 2 months

    and man that S&S package was worth the 2 months wait rofl :lol:

    same day, but wanted sun and sound. the dealer didn't have one so i said i don't need it. i'll make my own system.

    Looks like i'm still in the lead :p

    if i wanted i could have gotten one on the spot too, but it was a 2.O Diesel
    and it has 3 hp less, and no high revving, plus its noisy.

    guess its the parking sensors that take a long time...

    3 days for the car and 1 week for the dealer to install the spoiler, fog lamps and front spoilers.

    Same day for me as well. I wanted to win one on a hole-in-one on a during a gold tourney but I ended up going to the dealer after I missed and put it to two feet.
