How do i check if the lancer iam getting is PZEV?

Iam going to the dealer tommorow i live in MD which doesnt particapate in PZEV but PA does. I found out that the PZEV gts has only 142 hp so i told the dealer my reason and i said no thankyou to his offer, but then he tells me what i already know that the Lancer is 168 hp 162 torque. That doesnt make any sense to me bc first of all he is trading a car he has on his lot for the car i want from another dealer. And PA has PZEV on all vehcles. So what should i do? and how do i check if it is PZEV?

Are those the last two digits of the VIN number your talking about?

 

So i got the vehicle today for 20,000 OTD with the gap insurance. Without the gap insruance it was 19.500. I only got 500 for my trade in bc it had no AC and had the check engine light on. I got a Silver GTS 5 speed Manual I love Manual my first manual car and it is awesome the the odometer is real nice it lights up blue!!

 

No bc the day you take your car of the lot the car depreciates. Lets say i got in a accident in three years and my car got tottaled insurance would only give me the current value and i would pay the rest of the money on the loan. But with GAP i wouldnt have to pay that.
