Hey, i just bought a 2009 lancer ES and i want to put HID's on it but i dont know what i size, (I assume 9006 like the 08's but just want to be sure before i waste $250).
would the owner's manual say what type of HIDs even though they're not supposed to use HIDs?... or is the HID bulb size the general bulb size for ne type of light?
Well i myself cant see there being any difference in the 2009 Version? Mind you i didn't know they where out yet. But like i've been away for almost 6 months. But what i would recommend is contacting AMG they should be able to help. Also you should check out the other HID topics they where quite an issue a few months back tons of info there. Im Home in 22 days and just cant wait. I'll get to see the family and friends and finally the Evo X. Whats funny the first one purchased here in Halifax was by Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys. Now thats funny.
Just because its HID doesnt mean the bulb type changes. It'll still be the same bulb type as what your stock headlights use. Refer to the owners manual is the best, cuz I don't know if its changed for the 2009's.
