Hi. Istumbled upon this place as I was doing research on the Lancer GTS. I need to buy a small car budgeted under 21k before taxes as my most recent auto project is not holding up. I wandered upon a deal for a super clean low mileage 89 BMW 635CSI for sale by a 75 yo dude who had it since 91. My TSX had to go back and I needed a car. Garaged up till last year it has no rust interior clean and 106k. It needed syssuspension work radaitor all new hoses, replacement of the metric rims and tires to standard, ac work , just a bit more complicateed than basic repair it was borderline neglect. Well it cant hold up to the 1500 miles i put on a month. My wife , inlaws, and parents and friends thought I was nuts to buy the bimmer. The car is AWESOME but its not the daily driver I need. I couldnt wait for the new challenger. I really f'd up because passed on a 05 G35 coupe MINTY for this project. Unfortunately I also wanted this car since I was a kid. I idgress. Well now I only have enough money left for a car like this. It blows away the civic, mazda, ugly new subaru once it gets horsepower for 09 fix. Still no LSD but it has everything else for the class its in. Nice to meet you all
