i went home to see my mom this past weekend and a rock flew up and hit my grill, to off the paint. so today i thought i would sand it down and try and get the chrome off as well. well it F***ed up and now my grill looks really bad. i tryed to fix it but it made it look ugly. so had to just buy a new one. instead of buying a GTS grill i bought a DE grill so it will already be black.
That sucks dude. How much are the DE grills? My grill's paint is all chipping away was gonna re-paint it but if the DE grill isn't too pricey it's an easier alternative.

Yeah I think I may do this as well. How long has yours been painted before you noticed the paint chipping off?
well i painted it the first time about a year ago and three or four time since. i just thouhgt if i could get the chrome off the paint would stick better.
Yeah I tried that this weekend since it was the first time I would paint it and I started to use my air compressor. It started to eat into the plastic but it took the silver off lol. I stopped right as soon as I saw that. Good thing is it was on the backside of it. By the way I checked out that site you posted and it doesn't show any pics of there products. What a bummer.
