GTS vs ES pt2[no arguing]

    Alright, i started the thread so everyone could get their opinions out.
    NOT to argue about weather it comes standard with suede or not.

    So please no arguing.

    Since it was locked i wanted to start another one because i got a couple replies i wanted to double check before the thread was locked.

    can you post the link where you found a trunk lip for our cars from mitsu?

    i couldnt find it. and i didn't know our Lancers came with Trunk Lips. All i found was body kit components and the spoiler. nothing about trunk lips

    nice find. the reason i wanted a link was because Virus told him it COMES with the ES. That's the first i've heard this....

    LOL, no arguing...It is an option on the 09...I have seen them on the cars at the dealership.

    this isnt arguing. i was checking the VALIDITY of Viru's claim the ES comes with it. doesn't look like it. if you say it's for 09 then that's enough for me. Thanks.

    trunk lips from the dealer have been out for a while now. I remember seeing it while I was there mayb 2 1/2 monthes ago. and thats in NJ though

    A good place to get info about a car, including real world price paid by the dealer as well as the real world price for add-on parts and packages, check www.edmunds.com in the new car section.

    I gotta put this on here, i've been calling all local dealers to see where i can get the best deal on my ES, i got acouple OK deals but nothing to jump on. then i get a call today from a dealer in whittier,

    "Well we like you, so we're okay with leaving it to you for 22,000. Now thats an employee discount but i like you so i'll give it to you for that price"

    and i start laughing and say so you'll give me the GTS fully equiped for 22?
    and he said "No no no, the Graphite Gray ES Basic package for 22,000"

    i couldn't hold it in anymore i burst out laughing.

    he says

    "The GTS's start around 32,000"





    IDIOTIC SALES MAN FTW!!!

    i live right over the hill from whittier. I'll be sure to throw tomatoes at their retarded-ass sales men.

    22k for an ES, that douche is smoking some good shit. or maybe he HOPES you're smoking some good shit.

    That's where i bought my car. from a friend of mine. maybe i just missed it. It's not like i was interested in the trunk lip anyways i just wasn't aware you could "ask" for them.

    thanks though. next time i take my car in for servicing i'll walk around the lot
