Just like the title says, I'll clean it up a bit this weekend, there's some oversprays that I didn't notice until drove my car on Monday. Opinions, comments please, just to steer me to the right direction.
the headliner you mean? the headliner is black and moonroof cover dark shade of blue, I was asking around how much it would cost to have my interiors done and it's out of my budget so I bit the bullet and just went for it, I think it came out okay
hey man i like it...looks better then having a plain looking engine ..hey but on your bumper did you take it off and paint it or just tape it up?..and what kind of paint did you use?..is the paint easy to chip off?..what brand is it cause i am thinking of doing my bumper this weekend as well?
I'm a noob at all this so there's no way I would even attempt to take my bumper out. Just taped it and used some newspapers. I actually had vinyl on it before but last time KRU saw my car, he suggested to change my vinyl to flat black so I just decided to paint it flat black. I used duplicolor flat black.
Nice and subtle not overkill like that other person with the black gts that painted every little chrome blue.
interior looks painted for me... O__o but i still wanna know what are those blue things in the engine bay!!!!!! someone?? anybody?? the blue "covers" kind thing
the only thing I really painted in the interior (aside from the doors) is the headliner and moonroof cover. those blue things in my engine bay are engine wire loom. i bought it from ebay for like 12 dollars.
Looks good my friend. I wouldve preferred a darker shade of blue for the door. You may even have it darker, but the pictures may make it seem lighter.
the blue on the door is actually alot darker than that, the flash on the camera turned it light blue but if I turned off the flash, can't really see the contrast of the black and the blue. I don't have any photoshop skills to change the lighting and shadows and all that..
Yea, thats what i figured. that seems to happen a lot. Then yea, im sure it looks damn sweet in person. I cant wait to get parts of my interior painted blue.
IMO, you should have taken the chrome grill out and painted it. It doesnt look like you either put enough paint on it or the paint isn't sticking well. Did you sand any of the parts you painted beforehand or just cleaned then painted?
the chrome grill was taken out, sanded and cleaned before painted. it looks pretty even and like I said earlier, all of these pictures are alot darker in person. good looking out though..
