Glendale mitsu has been good to me. Aspen Mitsu (use to be Freeway Mitsu) are @$$holes. I tried to get the new 08 but they wanted more money and laugh at me bcuz my eclipse was old. After I got my Lancer from Glendale, the salesman I spoke with was a straight @$$ clown and didnt know ish about the Lancer. I went there to get some tire sensors and they had no idea WTF I was talking about. Also Norco and San Bernadino Mitsu are good. Norco Mitsu gives me lots of love bcuz I go there to get parts for my 2g. My $.02

^no offense to "raza (i love all your women, especially with red lipstick :D )" but the guy I dealt with is a "pinche puto" He was telling me you can do this and that to the car like putting chrome dubs, add crazy bass and he even told me that Pep Boys sells exhaust and intakes for the 08 Lancer!!!!. WTF!!! Fine, but what can YOU tell about the Lancer! I had to check him on the Pep Boys stuff. When I rolled in to get the sensor for my car, he saw me and went inside real quick.

Glendale Mitsubishi can suck a dick.

Long Beach Mitsu is alright...no complaints about them.

BUT! The BEST Mitsubishi dealership by FAR is South Coast Mitsubishi in Costa Mesa. That dealership also owns Huntington Beach AND Long Beach

Anyways, its a good place. Most of the Evo owners in So Cal use that dealership because the dealer PROMOTES tuning. They dont pull any bullshit if your car is modified, and usually you will see a few modded evos there getting their regular service done.

The first dealership I went to was the Glendale Mitsu, because my Camry was in the shop at the Toyota dealer up there. This is my experience:

I walk in and say "I am interested in a GTS without the sun/sound or navi. I will pay 18,000 cash on the spot and I will not take no for an answer. You can either say yes, or Im just gonna head out". The guy says "Well, lets test drive it and Im sure we can work it out" So I give them my DL and we test drive one. Then when we get back I get shuffled directly to the lead salesman at the place. Its this skinny guy who I can tell right off the bat thinks he is hot shit. He sits me down and starts talkin with me about bullshit that doesnt matter. I know how to do sales, I did the bullshit myself and so I dont like to waste time with it. He keeps me there for an hour (because they still have my license). During this hour he says "Ill let you have it for 19,000 nothing less." And he is questioning me as to why (to quote him) I have "Such a moronic and unreaonable outlook of what this car is worth." I tell him that in the end I dont really give a fuck what I drive, because once the WRX STI and Evo X come out, Ill be upgrading anyways, so if he doesnt want to give me the car for 18, just let me go so I can go buy something else. So finally he realizes that Im not gonna buckle down to him and he lets me leave, acting like a total prick about it.

Three days later I walk into South Coast and say "I had Glendale Mitsu offer me 19k out the door for a GTS, what can you do for me?" 15 minutes later I had purchased mine for 18,700. At that point I didnt care anymore and just wanted the damn car  I want to have the "Loyal Mitsu Customer" thing under my belt when I go back for the Evo....unless I end up with an STI...they look so fucking sexy.

I know exactly who you were talking about. He wanted me to pay the mark-up (which brought the ES to 22k) and I was like "F U, I am gettin a civic" he was like wait a second "lemme see what I can do" So, 10 minutes later out the door 17.3k about $1000 over msrp (16.5) Now when I walk in there he is like my BFF since I got the 08.

Mitsu loyalty is only $500 but every little bit helps

I would rather go with the Evo personally. Don't get me wrong, I have always admired both the Evo and the STI, but I have yet to be drawn into the "hatchback" scene. That and I just do not like the Chrysler view of the car. To me it is ugly, but, as I always do, I will with hold judgment till I have driven the car.

What I like to live by when it comes to cars is...

"The exterior and interior can always be changed one way or another, but the performance and feel of the car stay in one way, shape or form through the life of the car."

Yeah I got mine from ASPEN and ur right they r more but oh well. They dont know their product either. They told me that they r more interested in selling used cars since CARMAX is next to them.

But hey they will sell us the Radio kit for less than every1 else. $271 and change.
