i just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem, on slushy days with temperautre between -1 and 6 degree celcius, my front end (direction/suspension) squeeks like hell, it all seems to come from the driver side, the top plate or rubber bushings somewhere (its an obviously rubbery sound). my car also developped a pretty obvious thumping sound from the rear suspension. need your comments, experiencing of this problem.
I am at the dealership right now and theyve never eard that problem before, the car is in the garage im in the waiting room and i can clearly hear the car making that sound, (pretty atrocious)
yeah well i have the same problem especially in the morning hours when its cold out. Usually when i back out of my driveway and turn the wheel to the left i hear rubbery clicking, like something rubber expanding sound... this stays all day long if its cold out, if it warms up it goes away. I took it to the dealer, of course they had no idea what i am talking about, the guy took it on the lift, checked everything in the drive shaft, drive column etc.. everything seemed fine, now he noiced that my car is lowered with RRM springs, and then he told me that that is the problem i told him no!!! i have heard this problem with few people on their lancers even when their car is stock.! i might print this page out and show them that. I just need to confirm that you guys are stock meaning your car is NOT lowered and you are having that problem... also refer to this thread: http://www.lancertuners.com/modules.php ... highlight=
