So this afternoon I drove from Irvine to Lake Tahoe to see my parents. About half way up the 5 freeway at Harris Ranch, I come side to side with some chick in an 07 Eclipse. Well, it didnt start out side to side because I shot by her...but she started to follow me, I guess she liked how we both had the graphite color :lol: Anyways, we spent the next 150-200 miles weaving through traffic together. The thing was, my Lancer kept up very well. If there was a break in traffic, I could drop into 4th gear at 80 MPH and we would shoot up to 110 and I could stay with her. Doesnt the Eclipse have more HP than our Lancers? Ive never checked but she had to be just barely stepping on the gas since I could keep up :lol:
yeah, the Eclipse has around 246 hp with the MIVEC V6. Tha lancer is a little bit lighter though so there was a tidbit of an advantage haha. Granted, it is more hp but she prolly just wanted to play aorund and have someone to drive with.

WTF?!?! LMAO the 4g eclipse is very heavy so it wouldnt be that hard to stay up to her. they have a 135mph max. a friends 2g gst took it out.

Yeah it had to be a 4 banger ! its still quick but very close to the lancer . I test drove the 4 banger eclipse b4 i bought the lancer same speed but the lancer is way better on insurance.

^ I would suggest a 1g or 2g gst or gsx. I have a 2g and it is just off the hook. You will kick yourself later if you do not get the turbo!!

I helped my friend get a 2g eclipse I don't know if its as GSX or GST, but he told me that he's selling it. He lives in georgia, so he's pretty close to you. If you really want me to I can ask him about it. (If he hasn't sold it yet) Theres nothing wrong w/ it, he bought it as a replacement until his parents returned his truck.
