Yea, i know. But the stock color is that awkward light pink color almost. So i just decided to paint it anyway.

Looks good. But I agree, would complete it with a engine cover.

I like the Mitsu symbol on the fuse box, how did you do that?

Well this is where my creativity came in. I came across some full sheets of sticker paper used to print custom sized labels. I printed the Mitsu logo onto on of those sheets, cut it out, and stuck it on. Then i put masking tape around the outside of that. Then I cut the sticker out and then cut the gap around that. Sounds kinda complicated I know, but it just takes time and patience.

I did the same thing for the writing on the fuse box cover. I suppose i could do a write up on it, if you all want it.

That's neat. I just bought custom paint today ($67 later, but its blue and metallic! lol)

Has anyone painted their strut bar thinger yet? Maybe I could paint that too.

Yea, i just went with the high heat red. Its like $6 a can and im still working on some interior painting so i ended up using 2 cans.

Was I supposed to buy high heat paint? Cuz I didn't... LOL. I've never felt those parts get hot so I figured it wasn't really necessary.

i didnt use high heat and 6 months later my engine cover is fine. i went to home depot and got some paint that was for plastic. i dont know much about paint but so far if you prep the surface right it "should" come out fine.

ya, u don't need high heat paint... think of it this way... if it got hot enough for the paint to melt, wouldn't u think the plastic would melt/deform too? :p

paint and plastic have 2 different melting points... specially with different purpose paints... just go safe with what you feel comfortable with ;)

How do you do the inside did you tape it up or remove the panels? What yype of paint did you use? i really wanted to do that since i first saw KRUs car last year. I really thing it brings out the interior. Oh and i just noticed that you have a DE like myself. Real nice work.

Oh yea, definitely. It make the interior so much better. But i removed the pieces and painted them. It isnt that hard, but can be a pain because you have to remove the door panels to remove one screw holding in the door pieces. I used the high heat red, because thats what i used in the engine bay, but it takes a while to dry. But you can use any paint for plastics that dries much faster.
